The George Dawson Inn & Conference Centre

I really enjoyed staying here! A friend and I came in for a night for a concert. The staff were very friendly, welcoming us, and very knowledgeable whenever I had a question. We stayed in a room with 2 double beds and it was very spacious and clean! I also loved the idea of using clean, but stained face cloths for cleaning up instead of just throwing them out. The free breakfast the next morning was delicious. Oh and there was a live band playing in the lounge after the concert and I thought that was so cool! This was a lovely stay and I will definitely stay here again if I find myself in Dawson Creek again. Thank you so much!

it was to be expected for the service and the staff were great. my friend and I was overwhelmed by the friendly service. I will certainly go back when need be. I will recommend the George Dawson to my family and friends.

The staff were wonderful! The free breakfast was excellent as were other meals we had in the attached restaurant. This seems like an older hotel but was kept very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the historic photo array as the decor on the main floor. Also in the foyer was a coffee and cold water service & Brochures to discover points of interest in the area were provided. Good seniors' rates and we met people who made this hotel their regular stopover. We attended a Celebration of Life in one if the conference rooms and all went smoothly. We would stay here again.

The breakfast was good, and there was a fitness center across the street that they give you a free pass to if you stay with them. The room was basic, comfortable, and clean. Pretty close to downtown.

The breakfast was a hit , to be able to choose your menu not continental was a plus for us . Staff was courteous and attentive . Room was clean and well stocked .
