I really enjoyed staying here! A friend and I came in for a night for a concert. The staff were very friendly, welcoming us, and very knowledgeable whenever I had a question. We stayed in a room with 2 double beds and it was very spacious and clean! I also loved the idea of using clean, but stained face cloths for cleaning up instead of just throwing them out. The free breakfast the next morning was delicious. Oh and there was a live band playing in the lounge after the concert and I thought that was so cool! This was a lovely stay and I will definitely stay here again if I find myself in Dawson Creek again. Thank you so much!

The onsite Restrauant Flavour8 had really good meals for all meals - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner. They even made me a Sandwich to Go the next morning, upon request, which was very good, as well. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

it was to be expected for the service and the staff were great. my friend and I was overwhelmed by the friendly service. I will certainly go back when need be. I will recommend the George Dawson to my family and friends.

Our room was clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The staff was welcoming, pleasant, and helpful. Coffee and water is always available in the lobby. there’s an ice machine in the laundry room, so we were able to catch up on some travel laundry. A pass to the nearby gym was included and I got a nice workout. We were given a 10% discount for the attached restaurant, Flavours 8, and had an absolutely amazing dinner. If you’re there you definitely should try the Filipino specialties rather than the run-of-the-mill burgers and fries. I honestly wish I was staying longer so I could try more of the things on the menu. Breakfast from the hotel was included and served by Flavours 8. It was excellent and filling. We will be more than happy to stay if in the area again.

The staff were wonderful! The free breakfast was excellent as were other meals we had in the attached restaurant. This seems like an older hotel but was kept very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the historic photo array as the decor on the main floor. Also in the foyer was a coffee and cold water service & Brochures to discover points of interest in the area were provided. Good seniors' rates and we met people who made this hotel their regular stopover. We attended a Celebration of Life in one if the conference rooms and all went smoothly. We would stay here again.

The room was very big! The hotel may not look like much from the outside, but the inside is very nice. After a long day traveling, it was nice for the front desk to offer coffee, cold water, and snacks. The breakfast coupon and dinner discount at the attached cafe was very nice.

The breakfast was good, and there was a fitness center across the street that they give you a free pass to if you stay with them. The room was basic, comfortable, and clean. Pretty close to downtown.

The breakfast was a hit , to be able to choose your menu not continental was a plus for us . Staff was courteous and attentive . Room was clean and well stocked .

Excellent service. Fabulous breakfast. You don’t have to leave the hotel in the cold for anything. Everything you need is there. Food, bar, bed.
